Terms and Conditions – Lumira Shades

Our Contract

A legally binding agreement is formed between you and Lumira Shades once full payment for the goods has been received. Orders placed via our website will only be processed after complete payment has been made. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and Zip Pay. All transactions are secured through encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to ensure your information remains protected. Payment authority must be provided at the time of placing your order.

Lumira Shades' liability in relation to any order is limited to the total amount paid for the relevant items.

Pricing

Prices displayed on our website and at checkout are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). The total shown at checkout is the final price you will pay.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation Before Manufacturing

As our products are custom-made, production begins 24 hours after your order is placed. You may request to cancel or modify your order by contacting us by the end of the next business day (Monday to Friday).

Refund Process

If cancelled within the 24-hour window, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 days. Please allow additional time for the refund to reflect in your account due to possible banking delays.

Cancellation After Manufacturing

Once production has commenced, cancellations or modifications are not possible. Our products are made to your specific requirements and are not suitable for resale.

If cancellation is requested prior to delivery/installation, we may apply a 40% handling fee based on the total invoice amount. The remaining balance will be refunded within 30 days of your cancellation notice.

Order Cancellations by Lumira Shades

We reserve the right to cancel orders if:

  • Insufficient stock is available;

  • The delivery location is not supported;

  • The item has been discontinued;

  • Pricing or technical errors occur on the website.

In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Product Descriptions & Measurements

Visual Representation

We strive to ensure our product images and descriptions are as accurate as possible. However, colour variations may occur due to screen differences. We recommend viewing physical samples before ordering to confirm suitability in colour and quality.

Custom-Made Products

All made-to-measure items are tailored to your specifications. Please review your order carefully before confirming. We advise using our free in-home consultation and measuring service to avoid errors. Lumira Shades is not liable for dissatisfaction resulting from specifications confirmed in your approved order.

Delivery

We deliver Australia-wide using third-party freight services. Orders will be dispatched upon completion, and an estimated delivery update will be sent via email.

Deliveries occur Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. While we strive to meet expected delivery timeframes, we are not liable for delays caused by external freight providers.

Defective Products

All Lumira Shades products come with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in manufacturing. We may request the return of goods for inspection before repair or replacement. Please refer to our Warranty Policy on the website for full details.

Liability & Force Majeure

Lumira Shades is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to industrial action, natural disasters, system outages, or transport disruptions.

Invalidity

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder shall remain valid and in full force.
